Så Länge Som Det Svänger
_2.jpeg)
A visually creative intimate portrait for our eyes and ears about the aging jazz musician Ove Lundgren, who has held on to his saxophone since childhood. Lovingly told in a way that both creates a historical document and a timeless philosophical reflection on the significance of play and creativity in the search for meaning and health.
Directed and cowritten by Joakim Hammond, this film is an excellent example of his collaborative ability as a filmmaker, as he was originally hired by Krister and Michael to simply film a script they had written, but with dedication and perseverance turned the project into something more than any of them had anticipated. His vision was central in leading the film to be selected by the internationally esteemed festival in Göteborg where it screened in 2019, and was greatly appreciated by audiences.
